The Mazomanie Science Outreach Outpost (M.O.O.) was established in 2009, thanks to funding from an Ira and Ineva Reilly Baldwin Grant. In keeping with the "Wisconsin Idea", the M.O.O. brings UW-Madison based science outreach to the K-12 community and general public of southwestern Wisconsin. We provide a venue for science outreach programs and offer professional development courses for teachers, workshops, field trips, and science and outdoor education activities such as Summer Science Camp and Wilderness Explorers. We also provide resources for science teachers including science equipment for check-out.
